Massive De Niro fan, Goodfellas is my favourite movie, love Casino too. So I had high expectations for this movie given its written by Pileggi and starring De Niro, but I thought it was pretty average. I know a bit of mob history and have watched every film in the genre so I got the story but not sure many other people would if they didn't know some of the characters. I feel like it had so much potential to be a mafia classic but it all felt a bit rushed and done on the cheap. De Niro is a great actor but I feel he'd have been better off just playing Costello. Genovese just feels like a parody of Joe Pesci and I feel like the prosthetics were distracting, sometime it was a bit believable but often I could just tell it was De Niro playing both guys and it was distracting. I feel they would have made a much better story had they had someone else play Genovese, looks wise Colin Farrell could have nailed it or someone like Chazz Palminteri or just get Pesci seen as thats how they based the character anyway. Not much action, felt like a lot of talking, this is a film about the mafia, we want to see the action. Goodfellas masterfully combined everything but this film felt like a cheap knock off somewhat, I still enjoyed the movie but im not sure if thats because I'll take anything I can get that Is based on the mafia. The could have really made a good movie here but just felt average, my opinion of The Irishman was similar, it's like they are chasing Goodfellas 2 but none of these films can deliver it.

Couldn’t take the wooden acting seriously, it was literally like watching a template from the 90’s with modern actors and technology, I thought I’ll give it ago but then there was just a long period of endless talking, so much so I started falling asleep, this was 8pm, after trying to keep my eyes open, I woke up to still find them talking about whatever boring nonsense they were still going on about and turned it off, this was like 45 mins in, I normally try to see films out but 45 mins into a 1 hour 55 min video in a horror and only 1 death has occurred it’s a complete yawn fest, don’t waste your time. Another lame cheesy horror with poor acting using the same 30 year old template that’s been done 100 times over.

Boring, 1.5 hours of mainly talking with hardly any zombie action, no real story line and not very funny.

Saw this last night, I'll avoid any spoilers. Firstly I'm a big fan of Scorsese and DeNiro, they are both my favourite director and actor, I'm also a big fan of DiCaprio but I have to admit, I think they flopped a bit with this one. It was simply ok, theres a decent story line in there somewhere but it was far too drawn out as others have said, I can deal with long movies, but much like The Irishman sometimes films are just long for the sake of being long, this was one of those, it could easily be a 2.5 hour film. The film was just such a slow pace, lots of mundane scenes that don't really show anything, drawn out dialogue, it just fell flat and towards the end I was just hoping it would hurry up and end. It was lacking action, and when the action did come it was like it was quickly glossed over then back to the mundane stuff. I feel they could have made more of those scenes or shown us more. As much as I love DeNiro I feel this time he was just cast because he is friends with Scorsese, I couldn't really take him seriously with his accent and I feel the character would have been better by someone else. Even DiCaprio was a bit hit and miss, It was like he was playing someone he's played before, it just didn't feel fully authentic, you couldn't immerse yourself into the film. I think it's time to add some new faces to the screen, Gladstone was a believable character, maybe just because I haven't seen her before and she is Native American, but she didn't seem to have much dialogue. Not one of Scorsese best films, I probably won't ever watch it again, like I said there was an interesting story in there somewhere but it missed the mark and was drawn out for drawn out sake.

After initially hearing so many reviews talking about the loading screens, the emptiness and 30 FPS on console, I was put off pre-ordering the game and instead got game pass to play the game myself without footing a bill for a game I may not like. After playing over a day of gameplay on the game I can now say that I really enjoy the game and probably will look to buy it once my pass ends. The loading screens aren't too bad once you get the hang of the game and how it all works and they don't really become noticeable or they are so short that it doesn't really affect the gameplay. I understand how they have done it, you can't really have a game with 1000+ planets and expect seamless transitions, I think they have done a decent job. As for the Emptiness and FPS, Space is empty, I know this is based on a fictional future but they have done a decent job of blending reality with fiction, they haven't thrown a load of monsters and aliens on planets for the sake of it, some planets are empty and barren, I quite like that I can go to X planet and just see what I find, the barren planets are very empty, they have resources and thats mainly it, but then theres also a mix of sparsely populated ones and the bigger cities which are far from empty, the FPS is not noticeable at all, the game runs smooth, maybe if you are used to playing high FPS on PC you'd notice it on console but if your a regular console player like myself, 30 FPS is just like what we are used to playing and It feels normal to me to play. I loved Fallout 4, this is a bit like that but in space, the spaceship combat is something I'm not a massive fan of, there are missions where you have to fight off like 3 ships and they seem so much more overpowered than my little ship, even after buying some upgrades so I have left those until I can obtain something better, so far so good, really fun and addictive game.

Really good enjoyable film with a few laughs, I enjoyed it

Loved this game, so interesting and addictive, great characters, so simple yet so free and open to play and enjoy. I really hope they do another, I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did.

Enjoyable watch, my only criticism is that the story is a little on the far fetched side, with how he ends up in prison for the time he does and his life before prison couldn't be any further from his life in it. Maybe there is some exaggerated truth in that but I really enjoyed it, wasn't expecting it to be as interesting and good as it was so was a pleasant surprise.
