After WandaVision perfectly explored the gravity of grief, this destroyed all character development. Wanda was played off as a mother in hysteria who would kill everyone brutally and without mercy - even a child. All of this right after she has been the most powerful MCU hero with such a complex backstory and past experiences. If you want to explore the power of the darkhold in fixating on a weakness and turning the reader evil, don’t make it about a woman being child-crazy after such a short amount of time with Tommy and Billy who she created in a hex. Also, not a care about Vision anymore?? Strange also did things out of character… I can’t relate to making a guy selling pizza punch himself in the face for weeks because he said “you stole that cloak from the Dr Strange Museum” and asked for the food they took to be paid for… This movie doesn’t know what it is. A slasher style? Professor X in a 2001: A Space Odyssey style scene? Wanda/Scarlet Witch breaking the fourth wall and looking into the camera? Deadpool kills the marvel universe, except Deadpool is the Scarlet Witch? I wish this movie never existed, I’m trying to erase it from my memory. What a way to ruin these characters. The electric guitar as Strange’s third eye appears… no thank you.
