Here’s what I have to say about the new Superman movie the good and the bad to start things off. I will say about the good is that the movie is very funny and the special effects are great. I love the fight scene spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie yet I love the fight scene kind of I think it was in a football field, where he was fighting Essentially himself and another human. The fight scene was done really well that’s really cool and I also love the effect of the ice castle that was done very very well. I will also say that I love the light hardness of Superman and some of the jokes that were thrown around as well as good music. I will say that if you are going into this movie, not thinking of much or not knowing a lot about Superman kind of like I was you would thoroughly enjoy the movie as it is an entertaining movie. I will say, though there are downsides to this movie the first downside is like I’ve seen on multiple comments. The plot is not incredibly deep. If you watch the trailer, it doesn’t really get past that point it just feels like a lot of fighting and a little romantic relationship in between I also feel that some characters Were there almost with no purpose. I feel like that if there had only been maybe two heroes instead of five or six of them it would’ve been better. I didn’t love the character of hawk girl I did not understand really what her purpose was. She just seemed like a maid of hero, but I will say some of their comments were entertaining it just the movie itself in some parts was very very good. Some of the fight scenes was great. I loved how they portrayed Lex Luther, but I will say that some parts were lacking and felt a little bit rushed but if you’re there just to see a funny action movie with good visual effects then Superman is definitely the movie for you. I thought personally that the movie was pretty good because most DC movies suck so I’m a huge marvel fan by the way so coming into this and being able to see a movie that was at least kinda edging more toward what Marvel is was nice to see.
