The director really gave us a sense with the nuance Of a mental state with the main character Pearl. The fact that they both wrote the script just means they were on point with the antagonist and that translates. Onto the screen.
Well done on making a movie about mental illness. Great wardrobe, music and locations. Acting by Mia Goth was superb.
