A superb book that stimulates the imagination. The first part of the story was a TV miniseries, but this goes on to a brilliant conclusion. V

This was the first Renaissance album I ever bought and it led me to buy all the others, up to and including Azure d'Or. The hauntingly beautiful track Ocean Gypsy has to be the absolute stand-out track, but Trip To The Fair is also magnificent, and that's before I mention the epic song-cycle title track, which blends full orchestra with the band. There's no filler material here or unnecessary noodling to no purpose - the music here is very carefully and lovingly put together and each note plays it's part. All in all a superb album and I recommend it to you unequivocally (that means with no reservations folks!)

A superb horror novel, later a good film. The book and film both have truly horrifying surprises about the strange insects that emerge from deep in the earth with the ability to start fires.
