It is, of course, a cliche to say a novel was so good that the reader couldn't put it down. But with "North Woods" that was certainly true for me. I am a retired man who reads a couple hundred books each year. Most are forgettable while a handful are truly worth reading. This was one of the best I have immensely enjoyed. I will not share any part of the plot, leaving the mystery to each individual reader. The novel is very much unique and superbly written. My highest recommendation.
