Zack Snyder's Justice League was an incredible watershed moment for fans of Zack Snyder and his vision. This is the true version of Justice League, not the controversy-ridden travesty that was 'Josstice League'. This version is 4 hours but the length of the film matters not because it has so much heart, attention to detail and understanding of the characters. Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg is the true heart of this film, as his arc was the most poignant and emotional. His performance truly stands out among the great ensemble of actors. The aspect ratio is not an issue; how many hours do we spend reading articles or watching tik toks/reels on phones upright, instead of in landscape? The film was intended for IMAX screens, hence the 4:3 aspect ratio. I hope that WB Discovery will release it in theaters, maybe adding an intermission similar to Stagecoach or other classic westerns. All in all, I have watched ZSJL at least a dozen times since its release on HBO Max and blu-ray so it is a must watch for DC fans. The DCEU at its current state is in shambles and has no real direction. With Snyder's vision, love it or hate it, he has a concise plan that would allow for a reboot (or Flashpoint) by saga's end.
