Wait until it's released for free on digital streaming. One of the worst films ever made to the adults. My kids thought it was okay. The film leans on nostalgia and throwback to the original to engage the audience but fails to make a halfway decent film. The acting is super underwhelming EXCEPT Jaime Lee Curtis. Her acting stands out amongst a sea of flat/boring characters. Storyline is poorly developed and situations/contexts throughout are weird and don't really make sense. I just don't believe the conflicts between the characters. The "heart-to-heart" talks between characters at the end last a few seconds. No emotion (except Jaime Lee Curtis). I mean. It was EMBARRASSINGLY bad. The post editing is so poor that there are brief moments where the lips don't match the audio as though the lines were changed after the fact. It's so bad that there's one scene where a character is caught in an ocean wave at the beach. Even though his face is in and out of water, his voice lines don't sound like he's getting caught in the water. It was weird.
