My 4 and 5 year olds LOVE this show and it's one of the few kids shows t hat don't turn my brain to mush. The movie FINALLY came to the US. A sweet show, with monsters yes, but mostly about friendships and dealing with others. The show is non-verbal, where the movie gives them voices. Both are good, but if you have very young ones, I would stick to the show. Never anything scary or offensive or adult.
