Joaquin phoenix performance was nothing short of perfect. Watching him psychologically construct the Joker and deliver it through his performance was captivating. This is a chilling adaption that could compliment the Dark Knight Trilogy but has a more realistic and raw vibe that brings it “to your doorstep”. The plot is thick with interesting developments on the surface yet if you pay enough attention, you’ll realise the subtleties in the story are chaotic enough for you to “get” the last line in the film! Enjoy and don’t compare it; Its a masterpiece in its own right! 5/5
