Do not hate me for my opion. but this game is the worst in the entrie Pokémon franchise. The story is the same. You can't turn off the exp share and the game is forcing you to have a requirement to get in the gym. So now the games are forcing you to make it easy to beat gym leader trainers etc. I get that is for 7 year olds but With all the hand holding and the babying the game is treating you like your 2. Worst of all is the phedtic excuse for a rival. You can already catch and level up your team before the first battle. Blue Garry asshat etc was interesting he was a decent challenge and him being a jerk made it more satfying when you beat him that is what a rival is supposed to be I do not mind them being friendly just give them good motivations and a good team and AI. This dollar store version of him is too nice and weak to be a rival. He barely tries to beat you or the game just made him that weak. His boring without a personality losing to him is harder then beating Cynthia with a weak team. PLEASE do not hate me this just my opion but the only good thing about this game is easy access to PC and Graphics. Other that it cost way more money than it's worth.
