“What’s Up: Balloon to the Rescue!” Is a film that truly shaped my youth. This film is absolutely stupendous, and the Disney film “Up” definitely took inspiration from this masterpiece of a movie, if not downright stealing from it. This film mastered three-dimensional animation, and it absolutely deserves more love.
First of all, the story is fantastic. From the beginning, to the climax, to the end, everything flows together like water, and it truly feels like a paramount movie in entertainment history, a movie by which graced the world, and truly filled my soul with fascination and inspiration for my career.
Second of all, each character is fantastic. Everybody in this movie feels like a soul of substance and passion, with each trait of theirs stemming from a deep route; a purpose is within everyone’s actions. They all feel unique, yet unified as a cast of a grand adventure.
One more thing: the animation. It is stupendous and elegant. Somehow, in 2009, they made such a fluid and beautiful movie, and it truly shows their passion for creation within the care and time put in to the animation here. Things feel alive. The world feels vivid. Everything moves in a lifelike manner.
Overall, I could not recommend this film more. It is a cinematic masterpiece, and it fits any audience’s preference in entertainment. I love everything about this movie, and it is so fabulous that it is now a tradition amongst my family and I to watch it every month together. It unifies us, and I truly believe that it could mesmerize and bond anyone together, and even watching it solo is an experience every human being deserves to go through at one point or another.
