A compelling film. The Coen brothers first and best work to date.Darkly humourous, twisted,intense and brilliant. I saw it by accident the year it was released and was gripped within minutes,and to this day I can watch it weekly and glean as much enjoyment as the first time. A must watch late night film which to my amazement is never shown and has for that reason slipped under the radar for many. There is nothing to not like about this classic.
