A simply narrated powerful film that rolled the carpet to spotlight all that lay beneath hidden, unspoken but existing in all societies. It's not easy to show without 'judging' 2 flaws of human nature: excessively Manipulative & excessively romantic. While the former helps individuals who want their cake and eat it too at the cost of their near and dear ones, the latter blinds them to bitter reality making them ever-hopeful to the extent of being self-harming. Characterisation of the lead actors in Darlings along with a plot marked by unexpected turns at just the right time makes for an engaging watch. All performances add to the experience making it appear more as Real than reel life. Kudos Team Darlings!
