Defoe gives a non surprising stellar performance, as his green goblin bizarreness perfectly melts on Guillermo's well known palette of flavours. Other remarkable performances by Cate Blanchett's seductive psychologist and Tina Collette's Zeena. The movie starts as a sort of novel world building, slow-burn, and clashes in an epic sorta Tarantinesque untanglement, invites one to watch the original material and see the changes and reinterpretations.
