Honestly one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s not fast paced, but it’s not slow. Every scene builds into the next or the overall plot. Takes time to explore the characters like few movies do. I love that as viewers, we get to see the protagonist (Al Pacino) and Antagonist (Robert DiNero) sit down and have a conversation with each other. One of the most effective techniques to build tension in film and writing, and it was felt here. Similar to, but better than: Sicario, Den of Theives, major inspiration for The Town (which I believe is also better than the other two, but not as good as Heat, only because it doesn’t explore the worlds of the characters as much as Heat does). You really feel like you get to know them, they are so well developed. This is the ultimate cops and robbers movie and I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite shows. To give some perspective I really enjoyed Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Lost, Friends... etc. The walking dead deserves to be listed with those top tier shows. It has phenomenal character development, lots of mystery and intrigue, and is filled with unexpected twists and turns. For a show about a zombie apocalypse it does a great job focusig on the characters— giving it a “real” feeling. The conflicts are well drawn up, except for the 7th and majority of the 8th season. But the show came back with its bet season yet in season 9! Episode 15 is one of the best hours of television ever— on par with ozymandias from Breaking Bad, and the Winds of Winter from GoT. And so far season 10 seems to be even better. To anybody looking for a show to watch on Netflix I highly recommend TWD, you will be glad you watched such a captivating show. And to anybody who stopped after seasons 7 or 8 you should jump back in at season 9 because it felt totally refreshing with the new show runner Angela Kang! YOU SHOULD WATCH IT! TRUST ME!
