Taylor Shedrick

Very good show that hits on some deep topics. I’m a Taylor Swift fan but canceling a show for one line is ridiculous to me. The rest of the show was great. As an African American woman, it’s nice to see some more representation. The show had a lot more diversity of characters and talked about topics like racism, feminism, being biracial, and self-harm. Don’t cancel the show because of one line that was said in the last episode. I understand that the joke was uncalled for but I feel like the joke was meant to show the hypocrisy of this society. No matter how accomplished a woman becomes, society still tries to put a woman down based on the past. For example, the character Ginny preaches about feminism but still puts her mom down based on her past mistakes. I feel like the line about Taylor Swift wasn’t even a dig to her but to actually show how hypocritical people can be.
