Despite a number of reviews not in favor of this film, I liked it. I’m a horror buff, love the genre and most of what my family watches. This one was a bit of a slow burn, which isn’t something my girl likes, however she dug this movie too.
There are some issues I had, but consider them smaller issues in the story (like, I’d never let my child play in a Texas field, I’d also never go change a tire while my child is left alone who has been bit by a snake for some stranger to help who seemingly lives in a trailer). Otherwise, it kept me interested. It seemed a bit long winded but I didn’t notice until my second watch.
Acting was good. If u wanna pass the time, a rainy afternoon or a movie to watch during dinner and haven’t seen this, check it out.
