Echoing a previous Google review, the only negative thing about this movie is the poor ratings it's received. Clearly these critics don't understand the plight of a man like J.D. Or perhaps his strength as an individual, who pulled himself out of poverty just doesn't fit in with their political narrative. Either way, this is a special movie about a special man, and it tells an important story. And a movie that those who can relate to it would feel it is Oscar worthy.
