After endgame, I was not so sure about or rather keen on watching any other MCU movie for some time let alone in a span of less than 2 months. Might have been because of the emotional investment over the last decade in the now fallen heroes. And truth be told, I didn't feel any such connection with Tom Holland as Spider Man as I did with RDJ as Tony or Chris Evans as Captain America. Don't get me wrong here ... He is a mighty fine actor due to his theatrical background and his natural abilities but for some reason I wasn't feeling it. Now I know why .. coz before Far From Home, I haven't seen him standing alone and carry an arc ( read, being an avenger) as others before him did at some point or the other in the MCU for a considerable amount of time. In homecoming, Tony was there to help in some ways. In the last two avenger movies .. well he couldn't have been the focal point. But after watching this one, boy oh boy, this kid can definitely carry a movie. And not just carry .. if post watching a movie, any character makes you feel for them from start to finish, you know they have arrived. And he well and truly has. It's good to see Marvel finishing Phase - 3 on such a high. And this Spider Man well and truly looks capable of taking the legacy of Iron man forward. Watch out for a stoicly funny Sam Jackson and a really interesting performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. If I say more about him, I might spoil the movie. This is where we part ways and I tell you .. go watch it. It's total fun.

For those who are thinking of watching Mission Impossible: Fallout, stop thinking and go watch this movie. Why you ask .. sit down and relax .. gonna tell you exactly why !! Action .. There is no secret to why Tom Cruise is so bloody good with all the stunts he pulls off. Because he is a perfectionist first and and an avid movie lover on top. An interesting blend of being able to understand what the audience wants and then being able to deliver it with near perfection on big screen is what sets him apart from others out there. Story .. well, nothing beats a good plot and this one doesn't disappoint on that front. We could care less who stars unless the plot is the real hero and in this it sure is( along with breathtaking action sequences, mind you). Even if you haven't seen any Mission movies prior to this, you shouldn't have a problem understanding it unless you are too addicted to your phone in the middle of the theatre .. though it would help if you have watched the last one which goes by the name 'Rogue Nation'. Cast .. Mission movies have never been short of good casting choices even if it hasn't been stellar ones( RIP Philip Seymor Hoffman). Apart from the brilliant Tom Cruise, it has Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and the mysterious Henry Cavil who got a very interesting character to play in this one(without giving away much). Some reprise their roles from the earlier movies and better if you find out on your own as other who and why. If you are down for a stellar action movie or even a general admirer of good movies, there is only two reasons to not see this one: Like me you have either exhausted your salary and are waiting for the end of the month to get refilled Or You are still stuck on Tom Cruise being a nutjob( read Scientologist). Do yourself a favor .. just go and watch it. Come back to thank me here but don't ask for refunds .. just in case!

If I had to describe it in one word, it would be MARVELlous. Why you ask .. coz of the cast( everyone is awesome but damn Michael Pena and Paul Rudd), typical Marvel comedy gold and a snappy finish - literally .. oops !! If you are into superhero movies or even a general movie lover you will appreciate it a lot for what it is. A line of thought suggested that it could have done better on the antagonist front as they have been on a roll since the last three movies but was it really required for this one. I don't think so. But if I have to go out of my way and be a little bit nitpicky, I would say that sometimes the movie feels rushed a little bit. It jumps from one scene to the other in certain situations which is noticeable as per the style of the movie but there is only so much the editing guy can do. A fun finish to the Marvel saga for this year. Utterly enjoyable ... and don't forget to bring your family too :)
