I really think ti west is an excellent director of horror movies(I’ve never seen any that weren’t horror) but this movie is a slow burn and I like the setting and all the actors. I suggest it if you like ti west and don’t mind a slow burn

I really do think ti west is a very good director. He had continued to make very great horror movies like his newest ones X and pearl. This film is one of my favorite horror films. The 80s setting and vibe it gives off. The mundane life of a college girl who you actually care for and her friend that actually is a good friend. The characters are relatable. It is a slow burn but it has a payoff. The slow burn works for this because it’s so calm and just basically focusing on the main character doing normal things and nothing remotely scary. Then when the horror parts really come in they have such a good payoff. And you are invested and care for the character. This movie also has one of the best death scenes in a movie. I don’t want to spoil it but I hope it surprises you like it did for me.

I thought this movie was going to be really good. It’s a story by Clive barker. I’m all for slow burn movies. Slow start and end with a great finale. But this movie just is so bleh. The acting is good. It just never goes anywhere. Really disappointing

I love maika I think she is such a got actor. This movie is a great example of a slow burn while analyzing the main character. It’s in her point of view which makes it so good. She can’t understand when people speak because of the language barrier but we as the audience go through the same thing so there’s always a mystery of what has been said. Definitely a pleasant watch and the ending scene I really dug. Watch if you like a slow burn with great psychological thriller of you seeing in her point of view which makes it great

Honestly this one of the best horror/comedy if you would even call it that. Most movies like this just have to many jokes that just don’t work. Literally every joke in this movie is actually funny, like hilariously. Both performances were amazing. This is a 10/10 go watch this now!

Looking at the reviews is gonna maybe turn you off the movie, don’t read them and find out for yourself if you like it Don’t understand the bad reviews. Then again everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But don’t let the reviews full you. This movie in my opinion was great. The way it was shot, the acting. It’s basically a take on rosemary’s baby but a little different that also makes it original In it’s own right and not a downright copy. If you into more of a straightforward horror movie then you probably won’t like it. But if you like slow burn thriller thats an artsy film then I’d suggest this I don’t understand the bad reviews but then again a lot of people see things different and it’s perfectly right to have a different opinion.

Let’s just say this movie isn’t very good. Mildly entertaining? Yes. It always makes me a little mad when someone has a budget for a horror movie and it comes out like this. But then again I’m not the director/writer. Although I did think the wife and the main girl did a good job. The guy who played don i don’t think is a bad actor but his character is so unlikeable, there’s no reason to care for him. It was probably intentional to that but when more than half the movie is just him it kinda dulls the whole movie. I think if this was done better and not just focus on an unlikeable character then it might of been decent. This isn’t the worst movie and it’s definitely definitely not the best. I will say it’s a watchable movie though and a good background noise if not

This is actually a really good movie. A slow burner but at the same time keeps you entertained and intrigued in the main character and how the story unfolds. Frankie Muniz proves that he can act in a way that exceeds what he was notable for. Which was more along the line of kids shows/movies. He really should be in more roles because he did a damn good job in this and would like to see him in another horror movie.

Some may like it and that’s great because everyone has different taste. But I extremely disliked this movie. Someone I knew was praising how good it was so I went in with high expectations. But now I’m 2022 will smith is the laughing stock of the world.

The percentage on rotten tomatoes is so inaccurate. This movie is one of the best horror films I’ve seen in the last month or so. And I watched atleast 2 horror movies a night. Highly suggest this and especially if you like Renee zellweger
