If you want a good revenge movie based in India, watch RRR. I guess I am an outlier but did not find this movie engaging. Seeing a lot of raving about the action scenes but they were very underwhelming to me… marketed as an action “thriller” but the only think remotely “thriller”esque were more just nasty…involving toilets or teeth which just made the audience cringe. I was hoping for powerful political/religious revenge story, but it was quite disjointed and never seemed to really get where it was going. Might give it another watch if it comes to a streaming service, but wasn’t worth a theater viewing.
