Expectations failed terribly. The film should have amplified the glories of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan but instead expressed mostly romanticism, feminism and secularism. It doesn't show the severe atrocities done by Md Gauri. The film failed to show how he vandalises hindu temples, brutally plucks Prithvirajs' eyes and gives him all kinds of pain but definitely shows somewhat the kindness and just nature of Muslim empire. The director very smartly represented secularism under the name of historical glory of Hindu Emperor. There is nothing to learn or be proud of our ancestors but just a mere piece of entertainment. Nothing more left in Bollywood.
