I read this excellent book in the 1990s when I was a product manager for a security electronics company. The author has a much needed perspective on product development.
The idea that knowledgeable representatives of product users should play a major role in defining how a product works isn't obvious to most technical managers, engineers and software designers etc.. This book might help you convince your company's management that in order for the company to make good products, it's critical that it has strong user representation on its product development team.
