A CGI medicore movie. Even thunderdrome was better overall. The movie doesn't keep you excited, pinned to seat like fury road. Action too less worthy than fury road. I have watched all the mad and movies but this is ths lowest ranking. Action sequences feels like made by novice crew and not the "MAD MAX". Interms of storyline, it too is medicore. Doesn't do justice to Charlize Theron Furiosa. You wouldn't find any characters that could be iconic like previous movies. My advice keep your expectations from previous movies aside and watch it.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

While going through YouTube comments on "To live and due in L.A" , one comment struck to my attention. Citing, "the french connection, the exorcist, sorcerer and to live and die in la are 4 masterpieces of William". So I was naturally interested to watch sorcerer as other movies were fantastic to watch. Sorcerer is adventure thriller dealing with fates of the protagonists. William always takes a genre of film and try to give a masterpiece, justifying the genre viz his earlier movies. I personally feel sorcerer is notch above than William friedkin 's previous two movies in terms if atmosphere and cinematography. The bridge crossing scene is jaw dropping intense. This movie deserves an oscar!

A Kashinath's film where the dialogues are more popular then the content of the movie itself- another typical style of kashinath. The dialogues such as "mangaloru manjunatha" or the song like "Bengaluru teenage henne" are now a part of most of vernacular Kannada speaking people's daily conversation. A film that deals with love failure- soon to be estranged wife. A must watch for all kashinath fans.

Love Maadi Nodu

The meaning 'Adult comedy' or 'adult entertainment' movies are presumed nowadays to be cheap porn comedy but it isn't so considering the evergreen Anubhava (1984) which gives the viewers the basic education about Sex which was taboo in those days and wrongly understood in present times. Anantana Avantara advanced from similar background but it does the best of giving the viewers the social message which is much needed and is lacking in modern movies of same genre. On the nutshell the movie has very simple plot but the execution and direction gives the viewers a different experience. The subplots tone, funny songs, adult humor are the highlights and most importantly the wacky dialogues of Kashinath which became his typical and signature style throughout his career. The movie has some scenes that are very much remembered even today- the ajji lehya scene, the bathroom comedy and of-course the ending itself, are all the ingredients that made this movie a cult classic. A must watch for all Kannada speaking people.

Anantana Avantara

This movie has brilliantly executed the multiple double-crossing plot with ease, which, perhaps, only a director of Kashinath caliber could do so. There is clear sequence of layers of subplots that is easy to follow even with the outer context of comedy which is predominant in the whole movie. The dialogues and adult humor are class apart- a signature of the late Kashinath. On the whole the movie is quite entertaining and is worth watching couple of times like a Sunday afternoon chill-out. 5-stars for this movie as it's a classic.

Ajagajantara

If Kashinath with 'Anantana Avantara' started the adult comedy genre in Kannada film industry, Upendra propagated the genre and perhaps redefined it with touch of commercial elements. This movie has every element needed for a cult classic entertainer- wacky and extremely double meaning dialogues, the funny subplots, and the wonderful performance of the cast especially Jaggesh, Honnali Krishna, Tennis Krishna and many more. However, the star performance belongs entirely to Bank Janardhan who is comparable to Baburao of Hera Pheri. Most importantly this movie gave us the famous 'DAGGAR' word. A must watch of all.

If somebody ask you any unique movie in kannada industry, give them the name, "Om Namah Shivaya". The film is filled with unique and catchy dialogues, amazing comedy and outstanding performance by cast, especially Shobhraj. The first 20 minutes of movie is very thought-provoking. Apart from the above mentioned, the film's storyline is weird. Nevertheless, this movie is quite entertaining even after all these years, therefore, can be considered 'cult classic'.
