Just watched the last season (part 2- finale) and I found it difficult to watch. Was Marty always a p***y? Watching this character enduring abuse might have been uncomfortable if it wasn’t so frustrating. Speaking of frustration, am I the only one who thinks Wendy Byrde should be the name for women worse than “Karens”? Her selfish,gaslighting, manipulative behavior was horrendous. She’s a narcissist who got her way in the end even though her family knew, they still submitted to her victimization. I was so looking forward to this but it failed to impress. I didn’t need a happy ending, (Ruth’s death sucked btw) … I just don’t get why they chose this one.

Sandra Oh… No, No, No! No matter how hard I try, I cannot get past my dislike of Sandra Oh in this role. She makes me hate an already unlikeable character. I don’t even like Sandra at this point. I don’t get the supposed sex appeal that apparently has everyone wanting her, yuck. I don’t get her style, reminds me of an old (maybe homeless) Korean man… I love Villanelle partly because Jodie gives a great performance, while Sandra makes it difficult to watch the show without negative commentary. I was going to stop here but I continued watching and am trying to understand if we are supposed to cheer for Eve or find nothing admirable in her character because I am stuck feeling the latter. Also, is no one going to acknowledge that in these last seasons Eve has been emotionally abusing a young woman who has a history of trauma… yes Villanelle is an assassin but her back story is one of trauma. Anyways I know it’s just a show but I actually like the story line… enough to complain about how much I dislike Eve lol.
