If you're looking for something you can play in a week/weekend, this is perfect. It was great from start to finish.
The story was interesting but not too involved, and the characters you interact with are so quirky and fun. I also really liked how Book had some back story for each of them.
The music was beautiful and very relaxing (most of the time), and the sound effects and the way the music would change when it was getting dark was really cool.
One of my favorite things about indie games in general is always the art style, and this one really knocked it out of the park. I really enjoyed the scenery as I was running around the map.
There were minor annoyances,, mostly that the sprites are not always very bright, and will often get lost. Throughout the game I found myself thinking "stay with the group!", but I also did find that kind of funny, and it is nice that you can pull up a map and easily locate the lost ones, although more often than not I opted to lose one or two and just rehatch them in the well way a small cost.
I finished this game in about a week, but I also started it over because I realized after I had advanced too far that getting all the upgrades was pretty important for the final boss fight, so be aware of that.
Definitely want to check out more of this studio's catalog now, it was so well done for being a relatively short game.
