A massive return to form for Sonic. Cool and mysterious landscapes (and beautiful in 4k). Great soundtrack. Highly ambitious, open ended design and structure that most closely resembles something like Bowsers Fury on Switch. And most importantly the mechanics actually work for the most part! If Sonic team can build upon this one, then we'll have a genuinely amazing, top tier game on our hands.
