I never leave reviews on google, but this series had me so disappointed. As everyone says, the first half of the series is so good, but the latter half has been utter garbage. It is basically glorifying idiot Do-San and dumb Dal-mi characters despite their weak character roles with a heaping amount of indecisiveness, immaturity, petty revenge with little to no character growth throughout the series. I never expected such worthless plotline from a Netflix production. I am utterly disappointed! As many people pointed out, the real victim here is Han Ji-Pyeong, the character who was intentionally vilified by the writers, despite portraying him as the main lead from the start. (when grandma asks Dal mi if she prefers Do san from the letters or the one now, she says the one from the letters). The fan favorite is Kim Seon Ho portrying as Han Ji Pyeong and giving his best with what little he had been given. The greedy Netflix writers made a cash-grabby storyline favouring the more-famous-actor Nam Joo Hyuk instead of KSH/HJP and ruined everything! I rarely get worked up over a drama in a bad way, but my god, they royally effed up this one! The 2 stars are for KSH/HGP only!
