Khaled Hosseini is an exceptional writer and it is no surprise that his books are literary successes. This book makes you go through a lot of emotions all at once. It will make you cry and feel the pain of the characters as if they were your own. It will make you question many things. But most importantly, it will leave a mark on your heart. I would place it as the best book in the list of my favorite books of all time. A must read for everyone!

A really thought-provoking and beautiful story. Yet again Khaled Hosseini delivers his best work in the form of A Thousand Splendid Suns. The lives of the characters of Mariam and Laila makes one believe in the power of hope and love. A truly remarkable read for all!
