The game doesn’t actually start until after about 12 hours into the game. All the systems and features are bare bones at that point so I guess most people are put off by this and maybe stop playing. The load times are pretty long but so what...I’m in no rush to get anywhere so I can wait like a patient adult. The dialogue can be skipped but I didn’t feel the need to since I was actually interested in what was going on which is rare since I skip mostly all things story related. If you can get past the first 12 hours then you’ll be treated to a game with some serious depth. I still haven’t unlocked all the features of the game and I’m about 20 hours in. I personally love it but if you’re on the fence then watch some videos or something to help you decide rather than idiots telling you to save your money because it’s the worst game they’ve played without any real explanation why. It’s the best SAO game by far. I don’t even notice the frame rate issues. It’s not that bad for me to not even know there were issues until I read about it.
