Viewers who don't know the history of the Catholic church and the Magdelene nuns etc at this awful time in history. My advise is read up on it beforehand & it will give a better insight to this film. Loved the performances from Cillian Murphy & all the rest of the cast. Very moving . Such intensity. Would like a follow up film on how his life & his family's life will no doubt change on the decision,he made to take the girl home with him. I enjoyed it .

I had to binge view on this drama. Captured immediately to watch from start to finish. Timothy Spald & all the actors gave a very convincing portrayal of a true crime. I felt so deeply for the families involved & the way it changed their lives. Everyone was a victim. Pity it had to be true life & that people are evil.
