This mini-series was so awful, it felt like Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino were seeking revenge on whoever made them leave the show after season six. The main characters were changed into useless, unapologetic, arrogant twits. Being a die-hard fan of the original, I am appalled at the destruction of the characters’s most admirable qualities. Don’t even get me started on the musicals and the lack of an actually wedding ceremony between Luke and Lorelai. The whole thing was a cry for artistic attention.
