This is a masterful take on the save-the-alien theme. I have not laughed so hard at a movie in a long time.

Adventure, action, dramatic scenes, late plot twists -- all we've come to expect from the "Trek" family. Don't hold back, you "TNG" purists, this is a worthy addition to to the franchise.
