Long book, short story
I did not enjoy this book. Very little happened in this story. It was unclear to me what is wrong with Jake, the storyteller. He and Brett have a long history and always end up together, but they aren't "together." It is really just a story of old and new friends with sorry lives and an ending that leaves you wondering why you kept reading.
