Odd as it seems to review an album that was released 15 years ago, it's almost cheating, knowing that it is an enduring work. I only recently discovered Celtic Woman and have bonded to the songs and the artist contained within. Though I'm very partial to the original performers, I appreciate the new talent brought into the ensemble. With each new member are new songs that suit the performance. As excellent as Mairead is in Ride On, I don't think I could take her trying Scarlborough Fair. It's Hayley's song!
It's impressive that the ladies are so well coifed and tailored, and that their smiles seem like they'd no sooner be anywhere else than were they are right then. Thank you to producer David. What a gift!
