I think the people complaining it’s slow are people who haven’t experienced cancer in their immediate family. This book was written realistically and perfectly. Some people said it was dramatic. Cancer is dramatic. And for some families it’s a long slow (but quick) death. I am currently losing a parent to cancer and this book really touched me. The epilogue is everything I dream for my parents to one day have in heaven. Well written.
