This album IS New Orleans! It is also recorded quite well and, although performed in the later years of his life, it is one rockin' ride!

This was, I believe, his last studio recording and he and the band were both HOT! I had my original copy "borrowed" years ago and am glad to have it back! If you have New Orleans Piano (Atlantic Jazz CD 7225-2, from 1949 and 1953), Rock and Roll Gumbo, and this album you will have a great representation of the finest of this genre...
