Art direction and the films tempo was reminiscent toTarkovsky's Solaris. Writer, Jaroslav Kalfař, was definitely a fan of Stanisław Herman Lem, and the genre of early Eastern European surrealism Fiction. Beautifully shot and thought provoking. Love, loneliness, and loss are Universal as explained by a benevolent, Nutella loving Alien Spider and the fear of death are all part of every created beings experience. I loved this film... Glad to see that movies like this can still be made despite the popular Marvel mindlessness that packs the box office.
