Himeko Murata

It was enjoyable, but it was a female empowerment movie more than an actual Barbie movie. It is also a musical movie (as expected). The visuals are decent. The story is all over the place. Even Barbie herself is forgettable in the movie. The side characters carried the fun parts of the movie. I just dislike this female empowerment kind of movies because it paints men to be bad, prideful, useless and not smart even though it's literally the opposite of what they think. I just wish it was an actual Barbie movie and not some woke agenda pretending to be a Barbie movie.
