This show was exquisite until the end of the 3rd season, then it goes off the deep end. The 4th season is still so good in some ways, but so bad in others that it’s painful to watch. Spiro and “Mrs Durrells” culminating relationship just wasn’t set up right in the first 3 seasons, leaving it completely unbelievable. But I just finished watching the series for the 2nd time, and will probably rewatch the 1st 3 seasons again after a few years
