Bailey Ha

I'm very sad to be writing this, but this is a game that I truly regret buying. Bare bones content with important aspects already locked behind paid DLC and online service subscriptions. As to the good parts of the game, the soundtrack is wonderful and the visuals are pretty (though the latter is similar to past games in quality). That's where the praise stops, unfortunately. The map size is smaller than one area in Legends Z-A, and the content is equivalent. Lackluster story, buggy mechanics (new battle system), and a clear indicator that despite the long period before release there was not enough time for them to actually finish the game. Without spoiling much, I will say this is the most important thing to consider: This is a game focused on ranking up from Z to A. They have you skip 16 of those ranks in a cutscene, making the game about 1/3 of what was expected. So disappointing. I loved Legends Arceus and while my expectations weren't high for this, I find that the company still managed to fail.
