I came to this recently (2023/4) on the reruns. Loved the first and second season. Season 3 was okay and by season 4 I was yawning. Didn't make it to season 5. Love the costumes and the care taken to have the right manners. The cinematography is fabulous! But the plot simply ran out.

Wonderful warm story starring Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney. Loved the characters and the unusual plot. No spoilers but this is an excellent Sunday afternoon film. Recommended.

Absolutely brilliant! Top class British show with fabulous actors and excellent plot lines. Jo Joyner is warm, funny and bright, Mark Benton is an excellent grump with a heart of gold, and Patrick Walshe McBride is fabulous with his scene stealing undercover work. Highly recommended. Where is season 5?????

Great fun afternoon or Saturday night mystery show. The only thing that bothers me is that Jean White (Sally Lindsay) discovers her husband has been murdered and was cheating on her in episode one, and it simply doesn't bother her. They should have made that character her thieving business partner. But that aside, good fun and worth watching.

I love this because it is much more complex in terms of stories and characters than Original and The Next Generation. To me, this is Star Trek grown up. Highly recommended.

Okay, some the episodes are a bit hmm, and the sexism doesn't date too well in 2024 but I grew up with this and so I close one eye and love it anyway. If you love your modern Trek series, you have to watch this one!

I've just rewatched this and it's a gem! A complex plot that moves from the film, In the Beginning, through all the seasons and then through more films and finally Crusade. I may be lambasted for saying this but Babylon 5 is better crafted the Star Trek and Star Wars. Highly recommended.

Brilliant take on modern organised crime in the vein of The Godfather. Fabulous characters, excellent plots and the photography is just wonderful. An iconic show and highly recommended.

A delightfully dark police show with excellent arcs in every season. Highly recommended

I love Brenda Lee's accent, but more than that, the character is refreshingly dark. Love how people see her as good because she's pretty. This is a very egocentric character who thinks it's okay to kill. Good fun show.
