I have no words to what this book means to my family. We wouldn't be the same without it. My dad used to read it to me and my cousins when we were little, and we started calling him "Mr.Hatch" because of it. We loved the innocence, the illustrations, the beautiful ending that could make anyone tear up. This book has created many memories and even today we owe our childhood to Eileen Spinelli, so thank you.
