Control control control. That's what I took from this show. Had never heard of this character before I came across this docuseries. Ms Swan is a manipulator and charlatan of the first order, and it's so shocking and sad to see her followers fall in with her misleading and harmful delusions. She claims to want to empower people to come together as a family around the planet, yet her own little circle is completely dysfunctional. Married 5 times herself, but doesn't want her circle to marry anyone who is not equally blinded and willing to live only for what she herself puts out into the world. I remember she claimed to have no equal and no mentor, she learns nothing from any other person on the planet, it is all from within herself. I'm not sure why I even watched anything after that (except it was very late in the series). Unimaginable that anyone would fall for that. When her former boyfriend and long-time sidekick Blake falls for a lovely, kind woman, Ms Swan immediately sets out to drive a wedge between this young woman and her own puppet. I hope that they are able to find freedom and live full, healthy lives now that they are outside of Ms Swan's toxic culture of always blame others, all is pain, death could be your best option. So many times she contradicted herself through her own words. It strikes me so strongly that the truth is not in her, she takes money from "followers" for a lot damaging mumbo-jumbo. She is a force of evil in this world. She takes no responsibility for her own actions and choices, pushing all blame for anything that happens contrary to her schemes onto her staff. She's very much to be pitied as one who has no clue just how lost she is.
