The first will always be my favourite, however this came in a close second. I was expecting much less given it’s the 4th and so far it had been perfect. This exceeded my expectations. The beginning included more nostalgia vs context on current state, however the build up and execution after was beautiful and so well done (without spoiling for anyone). Loved everything from the witty humour, love, intelligent concepts and my favourite scene, the last one when Trinity gets her “word” in. Last but not least the moral of the story made clear at the end and so relevant to the world we live in. Only thing I wish I saw more of is fight scenes like the one in which they entered the building to save Morpheus and more kung fu vs zombie robots, guns and shield super power. What was up with that?
