How is this worthy of being a Masterpiece series? That name connotes class, elegance and a script that relies upon intelligence rather than sex to carry the show. That name should hold the high bar we have come to know and trust to bring excellence to television. Even the sexual scenes were bizarre and hard to watch. The make out session in episode 1? Gross. I absolutely hated this and had to turn it off half way through the first episode. The main female part was as unlikeable as she was strange. Do we have to watch yet another female lead portray herself as a stereotypical debaucherous and uncaring man to prove we are on par with men? What was PBS thinking??? Low class and disturbing.
