An absolutely HORRIBLE movie. Not historically accurate, not entertaining, not exciting, nothing. A HUGE nothing. The depiction of Waterloo was abysmal. What a waste of time, effort, and money.

Sacrilege to steal the title “All Quiet on the Western Front”, and then make THIS movie. No one was THRILLED to go to a war that had already killed MILLIONS. In the book, that made sense. The war was new and no one had any idea how horrific it would be. Here? The students’ excitement about the war just looks absurd. With a different title and different characters, it would have been a mediocre movie. With THIS title and THESE characters. It’s a travesty.
