I absolutely love this show! I believe it will do amazing things for Jason Mamoas career. He plays the perfect Baba Voss. The concept and storyline lead up to a magical, imaginative, and pretty accurate protrayal of human evolution after centuries of blindness. For all of these people giving such harsh reviews, you're clearly not aware that this is a Sci Fi/Fantasy, post apocalyptic world, that shows how extraordinary our human minds can be without sight hundreds of years in the FUTURE. This is not a show about a "NEW" world introducing us to a first gen blind race. If that were the case, people would be falling, lost, confused, unable to fight, build, and every other challenge that goes on and on and on.
If people weren't so small minded and unwilling to use their brain, they would know that centuries without sight would only lead to our race developing much more accurate and heightened senses to the point where we could not even imagine the incredible ways in which we would evolve and learn to survive.
I advise giving this show a second chance
With the main focus on all of the extraordinary things blind people can overcome rather than making fun of what they shouldn't be able to accomplish.
