I got it because everyone was saying it was good but I didn't really like it. The whole islands thing sucks because you run out of stuff on the first island pretty fast but then when you try to go to another island you get flipped over by a shark and killed. So from my experience you either dehydrate or get eaten.
But maybe I'm just not very good.
I'd say subnautica is better since they can kinda be compared in my opinion
